The site was not allocated for residential development, but Solve Planning acted for a group of landowners to secure the site’s release from the Green Belt and secure an allocation for 140 houses (Allocation SL10) in Virginia Water, which is an extremely high value location. Solve Planning assisted in the promotion of this site through the Local Plan process and attended the Local Plan Examination sessions. This involved dealing with the objections put forward by a well-resourced local residents’ group who were represented at the Examination by a leading Planning QC and preparing a detailed case for the sites release and allocation for housing.
