January saw the opening of the world class cricketing facility at Merchant Taylors’ School, Northwood for which we secured planning consent in 2020. The building is located in the Green Belt, close to historic buildings and is in Flood Zone 2. Along with the school and the architects, Sports Clubhouses Ltd, we worked closely with the planning authority to overcome constraints on the site and to justify a case for very special circumstances for development in the green belt. We are excited to see this project open for cricket practice for use by the school as well as local cricket clubs.
