Our client, Reeds School, instructed Solve Planning (under Kevin Scott Consultancy) to assist with the preparation and submission of a planning application for a new indoor Cricket facility to be used by the school and the local community.
The brief for the project, provided by the School, was driven by the desire to provide a building of excellence in terms of design and function, in line with the importance the School places on the role of sport in education.
Sport England and the England and Wales Cricket Board were consultees for the application which was commended for the quality of sports provision as well as the fact that it will provide for use by the wider community.
Planning consent for the development was secured in April 2016.
