We have recently submitted an application to RBWM for a new bowls club for Desborough Bowling Club at Green Lane Maidenhead.
The intention is to create a new centre for the club that will provide the highest quality sports facilities and the opportunity to play bowls (indoor and outdoor) in an international standard environment.
The Club is currently located in York Road, Maidenhead, where it has been based for over 100 years. This area is part of the York Road Opportunity Area as identified in the Council’s Maidenhead Town Centre Area Action Plan adopted in 2011. The relocation of the club will facilitate the Council’s plans for the rejuvenation of the town centre.
