We have submitted an application to RBWM on behalf of Shanly Homes for the redevelopment of the site of Desborough Bowling Club in Maidenhead town centre. We previously helped secure planning permission for a new, state of the art, bowling facility for the club to relocate too.
This application (designed by bblur architects) is for 154 apartments and is on the edge of the York Road Opportunity Area which is identified in the Council’s Area Action Plan as a key location, whose redevelopment will assist the rejuvenation of the Town Centre.
This will be a continuation of Shanly Homes’ long term commitment to the town, as seen in the Chapel Arches scheme of which two phases have now been completed.
